Pink October is breast cancer awareness month. Every year, this global campaign is a reminder of the importance of early detection, a simple gesture that can save lives. But Pink October is also an opportunity to support research, provide information and break down the taboos surrounding this disease.
This year, 2024, ADESIA is taking part in Pink October through the Bouger POUR ELLES event organised by the association Courir POUR ELLES.
In the heart of Salles-Arbuissonnas and in France, the ADESIA teams ran 8km. It was an opportunity for employees to get together on the Beaujolais trails for a convivial moment, while showing their support for the cause; in fact, each participant represents a financial contribution via a bib for breast cancer research and prevention.
In the end, our teams covered 160km!

Bouger POUR ELLES event is first and foremost about raising awareness. Regular exercise reduces the risk of developing cancer.
That’s why, during the month of October, the association Courir POUR ELLES is offering 8km individual or group runs on an official course or on your own! Each bib represents a contribution to funding research and prevention. Since 2010, more than €3,000,000 has been dedicated to cancer prevention and support.
